Anchored In Christ (AiC)

What is AiC?

“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few” (Lk 10:2). The reality of the Catholic Church is that the clergy alone could never minister to all the lay faithful, let alone spread the gospel in the surrounding community. Therefore, the laity is called to the New Evangelization, the spreading of the gospel to a world already exposed to Christianity, primarily by ministering to and growing the Body of Christ.

Anchored in Christ takes up this call to evangelization through the formation of a faith-filled Catholic community, rooted in authentic friendships, and focused on the “teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers” (Acts 2:42).

To this end we:

  • Host a monthly praise and worship adoration hour as a community
  • Grow in faith formation through small groups that meet regularly
  • Participate in community and church fellowship and social events throughout the liturgical year

By living in community as an extension of our nuclear families, we strive for holiness and seek to overflow into the world around us, thus building up the Body of Christ and answering the call of our baptism to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).

Our mission: Grow closer in authentic relationship with each other with a common goal of growing closer in relationship with Christ

Ways to be involved:

Participant- attend and/or invite to social events, small groups, praise and worship adoration

Facilitator/Leader- help make things happen
